Conclusions
The 6 furlong course at Kempton is on the outer loop so is very different to the 5 furlong course which is on the very tight inner loop. Therefore it is quite surprising that the bias favouring low drawn runners is quite as large as it is, however the facts don't lie and it does seem to be a large advantage to be drawn low over 6 furlongs at Kempton. With the horse drawn in the inside stall winning nearly a third of the races.
